I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Artist's Description
The Outer Banks Motel cabins in Buxton, NC sit right on the ocean. During high tide the water actually goes under some of the cabins. Buxton is located at the widest part of Hatteras Island and is our favorite place to stay when we visit. Even during the peak of summer the beaches are only sparsely occupied. Every time we leave to head home I feel like I left part of my soul on those beaches.

I have been an artist as long as I can remember. My specialty is pastel portraits, although I also paint in oils. I bought a camera in 2011 to capture images to paint from and fell in love with photography. Taking photos has become a passion on its own. I am originally from Georgia but moved to High Country NC in 2016. I live just a few miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway and love taking mountain pictures. I take my camera and ride to explore new places and photograph everything in sight. I am like a child and get excited about a mountain view or sometimes just a flower blooming.
