Artist's Description
This is one of my favorite places to photograph in the Outer Banks Of NC. I am usually hanging out of a moving car, white my husband is driving, to take pictures while we cross over Herbert Bonner bridge. The Pamlico Sound is in the forefront of this photo and the ocean is in the back with only a sliver of land separating the two. The bird's position in this photograph make it one of my favorites.
About Cathy Lindsey
I have been an artist as long as I can remember. My specialty is pastel portraits, although I also paint in oils. I bought a camera in 2011 to capture images to paint from and fell in love with photography. Taking photos has become a passion on its own. I am originally from Georgia but moved to High Country NC in 2016. I live just a few miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway and love taking mountain pictures. I take my camera and ride to explore new places and photograph everything in sight. I am like a child and get excited about a mountain view or sometimes just a flower blooming.
