This is the house from Nights in Rodanthe. It was moved from the coast after Hurricane Irene in 2010 because beach erosion was putting the house in danger. It is located in Rodanthe, NC on Hatteras Island and is visible from Highway 12. The new owners replicated the interior and exterior to make the house more like it was in the movie. The house is rented out weekly to tourists.

I have been an artist as long as I can remember. My specialty is pastel portraits, although I also paint in oils. I bought a camera in 2011 to capture images to paint from and fell in love with photography. Taking photos has become a passion on its own.
