This picture was inspired from shells collected from Portsmouth Island, NC on a trip we took there June 2012. The beach was full of shells, and we spent hours on ATV's riding to find the biggest and best the beach had to offer.
About Cathy Lindsey
I have been an artist as long as I can remember. My specialty is pastel portraits, although I also paint in oils. I bought a camera in 2011 to capture images to paint from and fell in love with photography. Taking photos has become a passion on its own. I am originally from Georgia but moved to High Country NC in 2016. I live just a few miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway and love taking mountain pictures. I take my camera and ride to explore new places and photograph everything in sight. I am like a child and get excited about a mountain view or sometimes just a flower blooming. I feel God's presence and feel uplifted and alive during my day trips. My husband and I love to travel and explore new places. I am obsessed with coastal...
