The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A view of the Knife Creek Ridge, western approach to Mount Katmai and the Knife Creek glacier covered in brown ash and pumice, Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes, Katmai National Park, Alaska. The valley of Ten Thousand Smokes, Katmai National Park, Alaska. The Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes is the site of the largest volcanic eruption of the 20th Century, when in 1912 the volcano Novarupta ejected 23 cubic kilometers of ash into the air. The ash settled at a depth of 100m throughout the valley and boiled the water at the bottom of the rivers and stream. The steam that rose to the surface creating myriad steam vents gave the valley its name. July 2009
