This photograph was taken October 2014 at Lewis Fork Overlook, mp 270.2 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This overlook is in Wilkes County, NC and provides beautiful panoramic views east from the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Yadkin River valley.
About Cathy Lindsey
I have been an artist as long as I can remember. My specialty is pastel portraits, although I also paint in oils. I bought a camera in 2011 to capture images to paint from and fell in love with photography. Taking photos has become a passion on its own. I am originally from Georgia but moved to High Country NC in 2016. I live just a few miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway and love taking mountain pictures. I take my camera and ride to explore new places and photograph everything in sight. I am like a child and get excited about a mountain view or sometimes just a flower blooming.
